The Age The first
edition of The Age newspaper was published on the 17th of
October, 1954. It was started by three businessmen, two of
which came from New Zealand. The papers weekday sales are
around 196,000 and then dramatically climbs to over 1,000,000
on Saturdays. The people who mainly read this paper are the
educated middle class.
The Australian The
Australian newspaper is Australia's daily national paper. On
Monday there is a section on worldwide issues. Tuesday has the
IT liftout, Wednesday has the Wealth and Higher Education
liftouts, Thursday has the Media and Marketing section and on
Friday there is the ever popular sport liftout section. Once a
month there is the glorious Wish magazine which focuses on all
things to do with wealth and luxury.
Australian
Financial Review
Started in 1951 as a weekly newspaper but
eventually becoming a daily, the highly respected AFW has
become the leading business paper to go for all the latest
information on business, financial news and analysis as well
as political opinion. The website is updated daily so you get
all the latest news as soon as it happens.
BRW Australia's most popular magazine on business including
interviews, stock analysis and reviews of the finance markets
in Australia and overseas. Popular editions include the list
of Australia's richest 200 people in the RICH 200 edition and
the list of the youngest rich people in Australia in the YOUNG
RICH edition.
The Daily Telegraph
This tabloid
newspaper is currently owned by Rupert Murdoch's News
Corporation this paper was founded in 1879 and is still very
popular today. This paper merged with its sister paper The
Mirror in 1990. Today its circulation is around over 380,000
copies a day.
Herald
Sun This is Australia's best
selling newspaper with over 550,000 copies sold each weekday
and a readership of over 1.5 million people. It was founded in
1880 by George Cavanaugh. It was actually two different
newspapers that merged to become one in 1990. There was the
morning paper called The Sun News Pictorial and the afternoon
paper called The Herald.

An
excellent Australian news website that has breaking stories
from Australia and around the world. Exhaustive topics include
news, finance, sport, entertainment, motoring, technology,
employment, homes, classifieds, weather and community
information from News Limited newspapers around the nation.

Sydney Morning
Herald
This is the oldest Australian newspaper that has
been continuously published since 1831 with a total of over
51,000 editions published. Its weekday circulation is over
210,000 copies as of 2006. The paper loves to print magazines
which includes Drive their motoring magazine, Good Living
their food and lifestyle magazine, Domain which is their
property section and The Guide, the television guide.
Wealth Creator
In
this magazine you will find interviews with Australia's
leading business people and information on share and property
investing. They also run seminars on business and investment.
It is published every two months.
